1. Nordmarks Furstepar	1. The Coronet of Nordmark
a. Nordmark regeras av en Furste och en Furstinna. De regerar som jämlikar och ingen kan agera utan den andres samtycke, utom då lagen anger annat. I denna lag kallas de tillsammans "fursteparet."	a. Nordmark is ruled by a Prince and a Princess. They have equal power, and neither can act without the consent of the other, except as specifically stated in the law. In this law they are jointly referred to as "the Coronet."
b. Nordmarks Furstepar regerar i sex månader.	b. The Coronet of Nordmark rules for six months.
2. Furstetorneringen	2. The Coronet lists
a. Fursteparet skall, i samråd med drotsen, utlysa furstetornering med Investitur. Den skall annonseras, med tid och plats, i kungarikets och furstendömets nyhetsblad så att kungörelsen når folket minst en månad före evenemanget. Furstetornering med Investitur äger rum omkring första juni och första december. Vinnande par investeras på samma evenemang som den furstetornering de vunnit.	a. The Coronet , in cooperation with the seneschal, shall proclaim a Coronet Tourney with Investiture. It shall be advertised, with time and place, in the newsletter of the Kingdom and the newsletter of the Principality so that the announcement reaches the people at least one month before the event. The Coronet Tourney with Investiture takes place around June1 and December 1.The winning couple shall be invested at the same event as the Coronet Tourney that they have won.
b. Varje kämpe måste ha en medkandidat av motsatt kön. Ingen får ej heller slåss för mer än en medkandidat.	b. Each fighter must have a prospective consort of a different gender than their own. No prospective consort may be fought for by more than one fighter; nor may any fighter fight for more than one prospective consort.
c. Deltagare i furstetorneringen måste ansöka om rätt att deltaga med ett brev ställt till fursteparet och furstendömets drots senast tre veckor innan dagen för furstetorneringen.	c. Participants must request the right to participate in a letter submitted to the Coronet and the Principality Seneschal at least three weeks prior to the date scheduled for Coronet Tourney.
d. Alla som vill deltaga i furstetorneringen måste vara närvarande på torneringsdagen. Om någon ej är närvarande så kan de heller ej kämpas för.	d. All who seek to win the coronet shall be present at the Coronet Tourney. If anyone is absent, he or she may not be fought for.
e. För att ha rätt att deltaga i Furstetornering så måste man vara minst 18 år gammal, vara medlem i SCA Inc., ha tillgång till Dragon's Tale, furstendömets nyhetsblad i sin bostad och varit skriven i Nordmark de senaste 12 månaderna. Varje deltagande par skall vid torneringen lämna in ett konst- eller vetenskapsarbete. Varje deltagare skall skriva under en försäkran som anger att de uppfyller medlemskraven såsom de är angivna i SCA Inc. Governing and Policy Documents och i enlighet med Drachenwald och Nordmarks lagar.	e. To be eligible for participation in Coronet tourney, gentles shall be at least 18 years of age, members of the SCA, have access to the newsletter of the Kingdom Drachenwaldand the newsletter of the Principality at their house, and shall have been a resident of Nordmark for the last 12 months. Each participating couple shall at the tourney hand in an arts or science project. Each participant shall sign a statement saying that they meet the requirements for membership as stated in SCA Inc. Governing and Policy Documents. and the rquirements of the law of Drachenwald and Nordmark.
f. Drachenwalds Kung och Drottning, Drachenwalds Kronprins och Kronprinsessa eller Nordmarks Furste och Furstinna får inte delta som kämpe eller medkandidat, tillsammans eller var för sig, i Nordmarks furstetornering under sin regeringstid.	f. The King and Queen of Drachenwald, the Crown Prince and Princess of Drachenwald or the Prince and the Princess of Nordmark may not fight or be fought for , together or separately, in the Nordmark coronet list during their reign.
3. Fursteparet har följande skyldigheter:	3. The Coronet has the following duties:
a. De skall närvara vid sin egen Investitur och påföljande Furstetornering med Investitur för efterträdarna. åtminstone en av dem måste närvara vid eventuellt Ting som hålls under deras regeringstid.	a. They must be present at their Investiture,and at the next Coronet list and Investiture of their successors. At least one of them shall attend any Ting held during their reign.
b. De skall kunna, lyda och upprätthålla Governing documents of the SCA Inc., Drachenwalds lagar och Furstendömets Nordmarks lagar.	b. They must know, uphold, and abide by the Governing documents of the SCA Inc, the Laws of Drachenwald and the Laws of the Principality of Nordmark.
c. De skall på papper arkivera samtlig officiell korrespondens, alla utnämningar, utmärkelser och andra officiella dokument och överlämna dessa till sina efterträdare vid regeringstidens slut. De skall skicka en lista på de utmärkelser som de givit efter varje evenemang till Härold och Krönikör.	c. They must maintain files on paper of all official correspondence, all appointments, awards and other official documents, and upon the termination of their reign pass these files on to their successors. They shall send a list on all awards given by them after each event to the Herald and Chronicler.
d. De skall under sin regeringstid överlåta eventuella ämbeten, på furstendömes- eller kungarrikesnivå, till andra.	d. They must relinquish any Principality or Kingdom office held, for the duration of the reign.
e. De skall förvalta Furstendömets regalia och vid sitt frånträde överlämna dessa till sina efterträdare. De skall bifoga en uppdaterad inventarielista till Historikern över all den regalia, inklusive gåvor och beställda arbeten, de erhållit under sin regeringstid.	e. They shall maintain and keep the regalia of the Principality, and upon the termination of their reign pass these on to their successors.They shall include an update to the invenmory of the Historian for all new regalia accepted during their reign including gifts and commisions.
f. De skall genom dokument och kungörelse vid sitt första hov erkänna sina företrädare som Vicomte och Vicomtessa, när dessa har uppfyllt kraven på sådan rang och titel i enlighet med Corpora.	f. They shall recognise their predecessors as Viscount and Viscountess, through documents and proclamation at their first court, when the predecessors have fulfilled the requirements for such title and rank per Corpora.
g. De skall under sin regeringstid bo i Nordmark, upprätthålla sitt SCA medlemskap och ha tillgång till furstendömets och kungarikets nyhetsblad i sitt hem (om furste och furstinna bor under samma tak är endast en prenumeration på varje tidning nödvändig).	g. They must live in Nordmark, maintain their SCA memberships and have access to the newsletter of the Principality and The Kingdom newsletter at their house throughout their reign (if the Prince and Princess cohabitate, only one subscription to each newsletter is required).
h. De skall vara föredömen av ridderlighet, hövlighet och andra dygder som förväntas av ädlingar, och skall stödja och uppmuntra dessa hos alla sina undersåtar.	h. They shall be examples of chivalry, courtesy and other virtues which are expected of nobles, and shall support and encourage such virtues in all their subjects.
i. De skall ge lämpligt erkännande till de som de finner värdiga av sådan ära på grund av deras gärningar och tjänst inom furstendömet.	i. They shall give appropriate recognition to those whom they deem worthy of such honour for their achievements and service within the Principality.
4. Fursteparet har följande rättigheter och privilegier:	4.The Coronet has the following rights and privileges:
a. Rätten att såsom Kungaparets representanter dela ut sköldebrev.	a. The right to give Awards of Arms, as the representatives of the Crown
b. Rätten att dela ut sådana övriga Kungarikesutmärkelser som har delegerats till Fursteparet av Kungaparet.	b. The right to give such other Kingdom awards as have been specifically delegated to the Coronet by the Crown.
c. Rätten att dela ut Nordmarks furstendömesutmärkelser.	c. The right to give out Nordmark's Principality awards.
d. Rätten att neka vem som helst att deltaga i furstetornering. Om de gör detta skall ett brev skickas, om möjligt i god tid innan torneringen, till den nekade personen. Skälen för nekandet skall anges i brevet.	d. The right to bar anyone from participation in Coronet Tourney.When they do so a letter of refusal shall be sent , if possible in good time before the tourney, to the barred person. The reasons for barring shall be stated in the letter.
e. Rätten till furstefrid, vilket defineras som ett fredat område tio fot runt dem, var de än befinner sig.	e The right of sanctum, which is defined as an area within a radius of ten feet from the Coronet.

5. Om Furstepar saknas	5. If the Principality has no Coronet
a. Om fursten eller furstinnan dör, abdikerar, eller Kungaparet beslutar att han eller hon inte kan uppfylla sina förpliktelser och skyldigheter, i enlighet med Corpora, Kungarikets lag eller Furstendömets lag, så skall den kvarvarande ensam regera som Furstepar till regeringstidens slut. Den person som ej kan fullgöra dessa förpliktelser och skyldigheter förverkar rätten till Vicomte/ssas rang och titel.	a. If either the Prince or the Princess abdicates or dies, or the Crown rules that he or she is unable to fulfill the duties and obligations of the Coronet, according to Corpora, Kingdom Law or Principality Law, then the remaining party shall reign as Coronet until the end of the designated reign. The person unable to fulfill these duties and obligations forfeits the right to Viscountal rank and title.
b. Om varken fursten eller furstinnan kan uppfylla sina förpliktelser och skyldigheter så blir drotsen riksföreståndare. Som riksföreståndare har drotsen lika rättigheter och skyldigheter som ett furstepar, undantaget rätten att utdela utmärkelser samt att stifta lag. Drotsen skall så snart som möjligt hålla furstetornering och Investitur för att säkerställa att furstendömet får ett nytt furstepar.	b. If both the Prince and Princess are unable to fulfill these duties and obligations, the Seneschal shall become regent. As regent, the Seneschal holds all the rights and duties of the Coronet except the right to give awards and make law. The Seneschal shall as soon as possible hold a Coronet Tourney and an Investiture, and thus ensure that the Principality gets a new Coronet.
